How much does cavity wall insulation cost?

Well, this all depends on the size of the property. However, on average a three bedroomed semi-detached house can be somewhere in the order of £149 (The typical un-subsidised cost is around £450-£700); if you are in receipt of any means tested benefits below you will be entitled to a 100% grant.

How much does loft insulation cost?

Again, this is property dependent and based on the amount you already have in your loft space. Using the above example of a three bedroomed semi-detached house with no existing insulation, the average price can be in the region of £169. (The typical un-subsidised cost is around £450-£700); again, if you are in receipt of any means tested benefits below you will be entitled to a 100% grant.

What grant schemes are available?

There are two grant schemes that are currently available. Both are Government backed, come with all the relevant guarantees and are available for all homeowners. Should you (or anyone else living in the property) be on any of the following means tested benefits you will be entitled to a full 100% grant.
