Free Solar Panels

We do not offer free solar panels - we do not believe it provides the best option for investment in a home. We appreciate that some of our customers may wish to consider this option from another supplier; however we believe that the best option for such an investment is to receive the full benefit of the Feed in Tariff for up to 25 years (index linked).

The reason there are companies offering free solar panels is due to the fact that they can get paid for the electricity that you produce, if you effectively lease your roof space to them for a period of 25 years (non-retractable). The only benefit then attainable is for any electricity you can use while it is being generated.

If you decide against the free solar panel offers available and choose us, we will ensure you have a system installed that will bring maximum benefit to you for your investment. Your selected energy supplier will pay you for the electricity you generate (whether you use it or not) and the energy supplied back to them.

For a typical 2.16kWp system, the amount they pay you could be up to £800 per annum, plus reduced electricity bills (from energy generated that you do use) which could be around a further £110, so that's a total of £910 per year at today's prices.

As an added incentive, we will install cavity wall and loft insulation free of charge (if you home needs it), which could save up to £110 and £145 in heating costs respectively, that's a total value of nearly £1,200 a year! Anyone offering you free solar panels cannot offer you these savings.
